Due to Blogger being down for a day or two, I never got the chance to post up the Weekly Review. However, it's back. So, here we go!
Hero's Gaming Blog - How a 8th High Elf Book Might Look
No, this is not a 'wish list' style post that almost all forums are plagued with, but rather an actual sensible review of how the book could be make to work in the confines of 8th edition.
The Nerd Also Rises - Centigor Conversions
A great little conversion, simple but quite effective. And much better than getting the metal ones.
Chattering Horde - Hell Pit Abomination
Nothing much to say other than a really great looking mini, it is a beast of a kit and this guy looks awesome.
Company of the Damned - Ghorgon
I am not always a fan of non-GW minis, but this fellow seems to fit the role perfectly. And what's more, he suits the artwork. I look forward to seeing some paint on it.
The Great Howling - Wood Elf Blood Bowl Team
I personally am a fan of Blood Bowl, despite the shame it doesn't get the support it should I still love the fact that there are a great fanbase for it. That's why these are here. I love the game, and besides from that this team is really well painted and I think will look great on the pitch.
Too Many Armies! - Themed Armies That Work
A great little post about making a theme work within an army, but also keeping the army playable. Too many times there have been excuses about compromises in the competitiveness of lists while they try to keep to a theme.
Hero's Gaming Blog - Tomb King vs High Elves Battle Report
No pretty pictures here, but rather a great little report with some extra comments and thoughts on the performance of the newest army on the block.
Hero's Gaming Blog - Tomb Kings
Tying in with the previous link slightly, this post takes a good view and look at how the new Tomb Kings are and some interesting points about the new force.
