Another week, another view into some of what I consider to be the best posts on the blogosphere this week.
Plastic Legions; Empire Army
John shows us his Empire Army, along with a great looking display board for them as well. It is great to see such a well painted and loved army on display in such a way, and I hope he does well at Adepticon.
Hobby Horse; Converted Shaman
A simple looking conversion but it looks really well. I love to see plastic conversions, the fact that the material lends itself well to the process. A nice little thing.
The Wandering Mind; 'Beastcatchers'
A nice looking unit. The use of what I believe to be 40k Dark Eldar Wytches is a great choice, they work well and act as a good replacement for the metal ones. The unit filler is really interesting also, overall a great unit and I look forward to seeing it painted.
Stahly's Paint Station; Giant Rats More
There isn't much to say about these posts, except they are some nicely painted rats.
Fields of Blood; Optimal Magic
An interesting post here about the best number of magic dice to roll up. It is a good discussion and a little different to most of the magic discussions that are floating around the net.
Stumpy Heaven; Dwarfs
It is good to see more Dwarfs on the blogspot. These are being repainted, the colour scheme is quite interesting, the green being very strong but it works well with the Dwarf models.
Warpstoned; Globadiers
It is a bit of a conversion but it makes these models stand out. I really like the look of them, and it is nice to see such a unit getting some love (even if they are rats).
Fields of Blood; Army Builder
This is quite an interesting post. Army Builder is a nice tool, but personally it is not something I use. I think it is a topic that can be debated between various gamers; those that use it and those that don't. Either way, this is a nice brief overview of the tool and its uses.
